The FMX Riders truly do bring freestyle motocross to a level which the pioneers never would have thought possible, whether on a practice run into a foam pit, or over dirt in a competition, the riders nowadays have taken what Carey Hart shot off a near vertical lip in 2001 into the first back flip on a dirt bike into competitions at an entirely different level.
