Here's More About It:

RESTORED 1980 MAICO 440 $5900 Here is the story on this motorcycle. I’m retired and need a four wheel drive truck to get around my property—I’m tired of pulling my two wheel drive truck out of the mud with my tractor. I have a limited income and have to sell off some of my motorcycle collection to get a 4x4. Up for your consideration is a restored 1980 Maico 440. I bought this bike about four years ago, and it has been sitting in my living room as a display piece since then. I have never ridden it. In fact, I have never even put gas in the tank. Although I have not ridden it, the engine has been gone through and there are no mechanical issues. Here are some of the features: Painted Rear Hub Painted Front Hub Front Wheel Rebuilt w/ New Spokes Rear Wheel Rebuilt w/ New Spokes New Brake Shoes New Fork Seals and Oil New Rear Brake Pedal New Front Fender New Rear Fender New Handlebars New Handgrips New Cross Bar Pad New Front Brake Perch and Lever New Clutch Perch and Lever New Brake Cable New Throttle and Cable New Clutch Cable New seat Foam New Seat Cover New Side Panels New backgrounds for Number Plates New Airbox Original Bing Carb New Progressive Shocks New Case Saver New Flywheel Cover New Sprockets New Chain New Metzler Rear Tire New DEP Expansion Chamber New DEP Silencer Frame Sand Blasted and painted w/ urethane based automotive paint Gas Tank painted w/ urethane based automotive paint and clear coated The pictures pretty much tell the whole story. As I said, the tank has been painted, and the only flaws are two small chips where the triple tree hit the tank. You could take this puppy out to the track and race it (Post-Vintage) as is, or keep as a display piece like I did. I will help with delivery if I can, but shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. The Maico is in Carlton, Oregon. There is no title since they are not required of dirt bikes in Oregon, and, as with most vintage bikes, if there ever was a title, it was probably lost many years ago. THE 440 IS BEING ADVERTISED LOCALLY. I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO END THE AUCTION EARLY IF IT SELLS. Thanks for looking. Normal 0 false false false EN-US ZH-TW AR-SA
