Here's More About It:
Hello, I'm asking $1700 for my 1995 Honda CR250R that I bought in December from a guy that was restoring it and ran out of money. I finished the restoration and had some fun riding it but now it is time to let it go. Work done by previous owner: - Powder coated the frame black - Boysen RAD valve - Pro Circuit Silencer - New Tusk Clutch - New clutch cable, perch and lever (Motion Pro) - New Pivot Works wheel bearings and seals front and back - New chain and sprockets - New Bridgestone Battlecross X30 tires front and rear along with new heavy duty tubes - New Keihin PWK 38 air striker carb with Suzuki NEDW needle, 42 pilot jet and 150 main jet Work done by me: - Rear shock rebuilt by EVO industries, still at stock settings and spring rate (have receipt) - Front forks and triple clamps from a 97 CR250 with Factory Connection internals. I also rebuilt them using a Pivot Works kit (bushings, seals, o-rings, new fluid, etc.) - New steering stem bearings - New swing arm bearings - New plastics and seat cover - New air filter - FMF gnarly pipe - New brake pads front and rear - New chain slider - New grips - New gear oil in the trans - New spark plug I still have the stock forks and triple clamps, which have also been rebuilt with a Pivot Works kit in case I ever needed to use them. I also have the stock pipe, the black plastics and seat cover that were on the bike when I got it and a box of a few other small extras. The bike runs and rides great. The only suggestion I could make for an improvement would be to re-jet the carb for the FMF pipe, I never did it as the bike still ran well. I do not have a title for it but will gladly write up a bill of sale if desired. I'm not looking to ship this bike, and I will not crate it up. If you want to arrange shipping on your own, that is cool.
