Here's More About It:
Up for sale is a candy red Honda Z50A Silver Tag Mini Trail. Since this is an original bike, it has the usual wear and tear. The tires are old but they hold air fine. The original chrome has some pitting. It has a new headlight, ignition coil, carburetor rebuild kit that's been installed. It runs pretty good but a little choppy at higher rpm. The paint has been touched up in a few places. The fuel tank has some dings. The original split seam seat looks really good. The lights work and turn on and off by the switch on the handle bar. No title. Some of the unique features of the 1969 Silver Tag model include the rear brake is operated by the left handle only (no foot peddle). The magneto cover extends a longer with a shark fin like look. The frame tag on the head tube is printed silver. Recently one very similar to this that belonged to John Lennon sold for close to $80,000. This little monkey bike is a blast to ride and comes with two keys. No reserve! Frame #: Z50A-128952 Engine #: Z50AE-128795 BIDDING REQUIREMENTS:If you have less than 10 positive feedback, you must contact me prior to bidding. I will only sell to the lower 48 US states, no international bidders. I reserve the right to cancel bids at any time to buyers who do not meet the bidding requirements. If you are doing a local pickup you must make a deposit of $300 (with PayPal or cash) within 48 hour of the auction ending and pay the rest with cash. LOCAL PICKUP:This method is highly preferred over the shipping option. I live in Villa Park, IL (60181) which is about 30 minutes west of downtown Chicago. Must be picked up within 1 week of auction ending, or I will go to the next highest bidder. SHIPPING:Buyer is completely responsible for arranging the shipping and covering ALL shipping costs. I will assist when needed but will not deliver nor pay any fee to have the bike shipped. Shipping to the lower 48 US states only, no international shipping. It must be picked up by the shipping carriers within 1 week of the auction ending, or I will go to the next highest bidder. BID WITH CONFIDENCE:I have 100% positive feedback and make sure to deal with customers professionally. Feel free to ask any questions you may have.
