Candy Apple Red 1970 Honda CT70 Trail 70 w/Title and current registration Hello and thanks for your interest in my 1970 Honda Trail 70 This CT70 has 3 speed transmission with an automatic clutch. This bike had only 2269 original miles on it. The speedometer has been restored and set at back to zero during the restoration. The bike now only has 1 or 2 miles of test riding on it. This bike has a clean California tittle in my name. This bike was restored by Mini Trail Madness in Glendora CA with over 20 years experience restoring Honda mini trail 50 and trail 70s. No expense was spared as you will see. The bike was in good condition to start but I am somewhat of a perfectionist and I like my things to be nice. This bike starts on the first kick, runs and shifts great. This bike looks fabulous and is definitely a crowd pleaser! Keep in mind most bidders bid at the last few seconds, so be ready and bidder beware! So read on and happy bidding. :) TB Parts stands for Honda trail bike parts- remanufactured good quality parts. CHP stands for Classic Honda Parts- remanufactured very good quality parts. NOS stands for New Old Stock also means Stock Honda Parts from Honda not remanufactured. OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacture The Frame: The frame has been sand blasted and powder coated the Candy Apple Red. I have replaced the following parts: CHP handlebars, NOS Grips, NOS levers, NOS hi/low dimmer switch, CHP horn button, OEM Horn, OEM head light, NOS head light bucket, CHP speedometer rubber gasket, OEM front fender was re-chromed, CHP throttle, speedometer and brake cables in gray, NOS fork reflectors with rubber bases, NOS Fork boots- plastic fork sliders and seals, re-chromed the original fork legs, front and rear brake hubs have been polished, brake hardware zinc plated, TB Parts front and rear brake shoes, axles been zinc plated, silver powder coated hubs and rims, New Bridgestone tires and tubes, TB Parts wire harness, NOS wire harness frame grommet, OEM ignition switch, NOS chrome strip on top of the frame, CHP frame decals applied with no air bubbles, CHP aluminum side badges, NOS side handle located on the right just below the seat, eBay seat, CHP sealed battery, original battery box re-zinc plated, NOS battery box rubber cover, OEM rectifier, original seat latch zinc plated, OEM tail light and bracket were re-chromed, OEM Shocks Have been polished and the springs were re-chromed with new rubber bushings, re-chromed OEM shock acorn nuts, NOS rear foot brake switch and springs, re-chrome the original rear foot brake, OEM brake rod from foot brake to rear wheel, NOS exhaust pipe, NOS exhaust guards, New engine cradle or sometimes called skid plate, CHP spark plug guard, CHP shifter, NOS re-chromed the original kick-start lever with NOS rubber, both brake arms re-zinced, New chain and sprockets, NOS air cleaner and chrome end caps, NOS carburetor boot. Powder coated the foot pegs/kickstand, air box, seat hinge and gas tank mount in gloss black. OEM gas tank neck rubber, OEM gas cap. All original Honda #8 insignia bolts were cleaned and silver zinc plated just like new, these bolts are no longer available as they are made different now. Engine: New Carburetor with a polished OEM intake manifold, valve covers and cam cover. Head was disassembled and bead blasted replaced both valves with new valves, new valve seats were cut and lapped for perfect seal, replaced the cam chain and cam chain rollers, cylinder was bored and honed to .50 over with new piston, rings, pin, and cir clips, barrel was painted with high temp epoxy gloss black paint, new clutches, seals, screws, NOS shift forks and pins, new points plug and condenser, all new drain bolts, washers, head acorn nuts, brass washers, installed factory Honda SAE30 oil, finished the motor off by polishing the magneto/stator cover and powder coated the clutch cover. This bike is over the top with great attention to detail! Bid with confidence you won't be disappointed. Buyer is responsible for all insurance and shipping cost.
